Miscellaneous

Think of this as a potpourri of passion projects. A grab bag, if you will.

Book cover design

I designed this book cover for a collection of stories of a grandfather presented to his ten grandchildren.

Many of the stories in the collection take place in the 1970s, so I drew inspiration from the classic retro, groovy 70’s patterns.

The ten oval patterns represent each of Nison’s ten grandchildren.

Poster design

Jewish Women International sought poster designs for multiple coordinated protests across the United States against the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Brochure layout design & copywriting

I researched, wrote, and designed a brochure about dating abuse and stalking on college campuses. Outside of graphic design work, I’ve also been deeply involved in sexual violence prevention advocacy for the past six years.

Copies of the brochure were distributed to students across campuses in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

Digital Art

I enjoy taking different mediums of art and design and bringing them into the digital realm.

In the Washington DC poster, I digitized a photo that I took on my phone while walking around my neighborhood.

On the tote bag, I digitized a design I made out of cut paper in a risograph printing class.

Book cover design

I designed a book cover for a self-publishing author seeking a cover design via the design job board I Need A Book Cover.

Logo design

I designed a logo for a meditation teacher.
Look for the hidden K in the logo.
